Welcome To A Better Charnwood

There's no doubt about it, Charnwood is a great place to live - it's in a fantastic location, has good access to forests and natural areas, a rich history, a multicultural society, fine buildings and good parks.

• But could it be better?
• Would you like it to be?
• Can you think of ways that it could be improved?

It begins with each of us. We have to take responsibility for our part in the process. What we do or don't do matters. So while you are browsing this Web site, reflect on what you can do to help make Charnwood a better place to live, work or visit.

Charnwood Together is preparing a
Sustainable Community Strategy
which follows on from the
County Sustainable Community Strategy.

This is due to go out to public consultation during mid to late summer and will replace the existing community strategy.
At our meeting we discussed the process so that we are in a position to respond to it when it is published.
